The Telephone Association of New England represents 40 telephone companies throughout the six states of New England. In addition, we host an Associate member group of over 200 suppliers of products and services. We pride ourselves in the alliances that have formed between our Associate and Telephone Company members. Membership in TANE brings many opportunities to all of our members. Including participation in TANE's activities, which include many informational and training seminars including the Customer Service Symposium, the Sunday River Showcase and our Annual Meeting at the beautiful Balsams Grand Resort in Dixville Notch NH. Our members also benefit from the activities of our three state associations in Maine (TAM), New Hampshire (NHTA) and Vermont (TAV). We co-sponsor many activities with the New York State Telephone Association (NYSTA) and as a member of TANE your company will be involved with these functions. TANE has also received national recognition for its continued support of the New England Chapter of the Independent Telephone Pioneer Association and its scholarship program. We publish a newsletter featuring our member companies and their activities plus industry wide news. Special bulletins are mailed, faxed or e-mailed to our members on an as needed basis.
