Charting a New Course

Please join us for the 2010 Annual Meeting at The Balsams. We have some changes in store this year as well as one of the best programs ever!

We have decided to hold the cocktail receptions and table top exhibits upstairs in the John Dix Social Room.  All of you long time attendees will remember this from years past and all will appreciate the more formal and intimate surroundings of the Dix social room which harkens back to the olds days of The Balsams.  The traditional Business Meeting has been changed from Monday to Sunday evening giving us more time for educational sessions.

Monday kicks off with a panel discussion moderated by Larry Sterrs featuring the three FairPoint State Presidents discussing the future of their company as they emerge from bankruptcy and look to play a critical role in the telecommunications infrastructure in New England together with the Independents.  Click here to fill out a quick survey of topics you would like addressed in this panel discussion.

Tuesday will feature a three state panel of PUC commissioners moderated by Bob Puckett of NYSTA titled "Competition and Its Impact on the Role of the Regulator".

Our wrap-up session will feature presentations from some of the entities receiving NTIA Broadband funding including the Maine Fiber Company 3 Ring Binder, the University of New Hampshire and more.
