TANE Annual Meeting Change Announcement

As many of you have heard, The Balsams Resort in New Hampshire has been sold and will be closed for a significant amount of time for renovation. We were approaching 50 years of history with them so it is sad we have to make a change this year.

On a positive note, the Annual Meeting Planning Committee and the TANE Board of Directors have embraced this as an opportunity to try something new that we hope in the long run will be beneficial for all our members. We have been working actively with the Telecommunications Association of Maine [TAM] and we have decided to have a combined annual meeting with TAM this June at the beautiful Samoset Resort in Rockland, Maine. The dates are June 12-14, 2012. We are planning an open membership meeting on June 12 at 1:00 p.m. to kick things off followed by a cocktail reception, barbeque and the TANE Volunteer awards and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. At the membership meeting we will be looking for feedback from all our members on TANE’s future and Mission, including whether or not we should we continue to consider combined meetings in the future.

The meeting will feature the opportunity for the TANE and TAM Associate Members to have full exhibit booths. We are working on the final program now and plan to get additional information out in the near future.
